About INFA - International Nepalese Film Academy

Concept, idea & team formed in 2015 in the United Kingdom where INFA - International Nepalese Film Academy  " INFA -Academy" which is solely for commercial purpose and INFA - International Nepalese Film Association "INFA - Association/Foundation" born which is solely not for profit Organisation. INFA-International Nepalese Film Academy (INFA-Academy) mission to take Nepalese movie into an international movie hall, global arena, and create Nepalese movie market globally.

After one year brainstorming and continue efforts history was been made the very first Nepalese movie was certified/censored by British Board of Film Classification [12A] we successfully showed/primer very first Nepalese movie "Gajalu" in August 2016 international movie hall Cineworld which is the world’s second-largest cinema chain, with 9,518 screens across 790 sites in 11 countries: the UK, the US, Canada, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Israel, Hungary, Czechia, Bulgaria, and Slovakia.

After the grand success of showing the movie in Cineworld, we achieved the second milestone, success to show Nepalese movie in one of the most reputed another cinema hall in United Kingdom name called VUE Cinema hall which has 228 cinemas and 1,989 screens internationally, including in the United Kingdom 271 3D screens, 9 Extreme Screens, 6 Scene Screens and Bars, and 3 IMAX screens...

Back to back, we achieved the third milestone to show a movie in the most reputed Odeon Cinema hall in the United Kingdom which is the largest cinema chain in the United Kingdom by market share. Odeon, stylized as ODEON, is a cinema brand name operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Norway, which along with UCI Cinemas and Nordic Cinema Group is part of the Odeon Cinemas Group subsidiary of AMC Theatres. It uses the famous name of the Odeon cinema circuit first introduced in Britain in 1930.

Since August 2016 our core team collectively actively working to promote and create Nepalese Movies " Kollywood Movies" market at the international level.

The INFA - International Nepalese Film Academy  "INFA- Academy" and INFA - International Nepalese Film Association/Foundation  "INFA-Association/Foundation" are the first effort to promote Nepalese cinema on a global level. INFA - International Nepalese Film Academy (INFA- Academy) dreams to take Nepalese cinema to glorious heights beyond Nepalese borders. International Nepalese Film Academy short form "INFA-Academy" and International Nepalese Film Association/Foundation short form "INFA-Association/Foundation" will be having 32 branches across the globe within 3 to 5 years timeline to Promote and create Nepalese Movie market in International Level. Entire branches across the globe will be centralized, controlled, and operated from the headquarters office London, United Kingdom.
